CUPCAKES, CUPCAKES, AND MORE CUPCAKES!
Building on the fantastic cupcake ideas from the amazing teacher and blogger Kacey at Doodle Bugs Teaching inspired me to create my own Cupcake Counting By 10's sheet. I read my firsties the book If You Give a Cat A Cupcake by Laura Numeroff, and printed Kacey's beautifully created cupcake counting by 10's cards. After each student took a turn placing the cupcake cards in counting order into a pocket chart, they were responsible for completing the accompanying Cupcake Counting By 10's sheet.
